I was getting sick of the politics at my job and even more sick of keeping myself from explicitly yelling out how ridiculous and to a heavy extent, useless, the new direction set by our new Marketing Director was.

I started applying for jobs, and passed Round 1 of an interview at a really nice company who’s Marketing Director I bonded well with over some Merlot.

She later sent me an email, setting up a meeting with the Founder/CEO of the company who wanted to meet me to take things ahead.
